The new BRAX MATRIX ML3 cone midrange speakers are masterpieces in themselves – handcrafted in Germany with state-of-the-art technology and only the best materials. When implemented as part of a fully active sound system, it becomes clear they are something truly perfected. Their design signals premium quality; the meticulously selected "Made in Germany" components ensure exceptional functionality and clean sound reproduction. An aerodynamically shaped aluminum die-cast basket provides ideal voice coil ventilation, while a low-reflection rubber surround ensures smooth high-frequency roll-off. The very stiff and lightweight paper cone features a revolutionary “MicroSphere” coating. This patented technology embeds ceramic hollow spheres (only 75 microns in diameter) in a polyamide layer applied to the cone. This special coating increases stiffness and internal damping without increasing weight, allowing for excellent responsiveness, a low total Q factor, and outstanding precision in sound reproduction.

To meet BRAX's rigorous quality standards, each speaker set is hand-selected and acoustically matched. Only after this process does each set receive a unique serial number, which is recorded in a service database. Packaged in an elegant wooden box, this speaker system reflects the BRAX high-end philosophy. An optional stainless steel mounting ring set including a grill (MR3) is also available. The solid stainless steel ring can be used either as a mounting ring or grill support, depending on your installation setup.
